DuraVent DVL-D DVL Decreaser

DuraVent DVL-D DVL Decreaser provides a premium product for use with the DVL chimney system. This DVL decreaser installs when decreasing the appliance outlet when approved by the appliance manufacturer or authority with jurisdiction. NOTICE: The diameter of the stovepipe (connector) and chimney should match the outlet size on the appliance. Decreasing chimney diameter can affect draft and have serious negative impact of chimney performance. Please check the stove manufacturer’s venting instructions closely prior to installing a decreaser.

DVL offers a double-wall, air-insulated design to reduce clearances to combustibles from 18 inches to 6 inches–the closest clearance to a wall of any connector pipe. DVL improves stove performance by maintaining high flue gas temperatures for a strong, steady draft. The stainless steel inner walls of DVL pipe heat up faster and stay hot longer to minimize the formation of creosote and prolong the life of the chimney. NOTE: Venting components should be installed by a licensed installer in accordance with local codes and within the manufacturer’s specified guidelines as noted in your appliance’s installation manual.
