DuraVent DT-FRS DuraTech Firestop Radiation Shield

DuraVent DT-FRS DuraTech Firestop Radiation Shield provides a premium product for use with the DuraTech chimney system. For use in ceiling or floor penetrations without ceiling support, this component fits on the underside of the ceiling and adjusts to cover framing. This unit is not required when passing through the roof.

DuraTech is a double-wall chimney system for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood. DuraTech is designed for normal, continuous operation at 1,000 degree flue gas temps. NOTE: Venting components should be installed by a licensed installer in accordance with local codes and within the manufacturer’s specified guidelines as noted in your appliance’s installation manual.
